Since you're on OS X 10.7.5 (Lion), the latest version of the Fliqlo screensaver (1.7) will not work for you; it requires 10.8 or newer. However, you can still download an older version that should support your operating system. You can download version 1.5 of Fliqlo. Rob (Screensavers Planet) 2 years ago. I thought that may be it, however the older version isn't working either:/ Max 2 years ago. Do you get the same message with version 1.5, telling you to contact the creator for a newer version, or is it a different problem? I dug up an even older version (1.4), which you can download, but perhaps that gives the same error.
That version requires the Adobe Flash Player to be installed, so make sure you have that. Rob (Screensavers Planet) 2 years ago. Version 1.4 work fine on version 10.7.5 Egar 1 year ago Post a reply.
About Adobe Flash Player for Mac The Adobe Flash Player is a widely distributed proprietary multimedia and application player created by Macromedia and now developed and distributed by Adobe after its acquisition. Flash Player runs SWF files that can be created by the Adobe Flash authoring tool, by Adobe Flex or by a number of other Macromedia and third party tools. Adobe Flash, or simply Flash, refers to both a multimedia authoring program and the Adobe Flash Player, written and distributed by Adobe, that uses vector and raster graphics, a native scripting language called ActionScript and bidirectional streaming of video and audio.
Strictly speaking, Adobe Flash is the authoring environment and Flash Player is the virtual machine used to run the Flash files, but in colloquial language these have become mixed: Flash can mean either the authoring environment, the player, or the application files. Flash Player has support for an embedded scripting language called ActionScript (AS), which is based on ECMAScript.
Since its inception, ActionScript has matured from a script syntax without variables to one that supports object-oriented code, and may now be compared in capability to JavaScript (another ECMAScript-based scripting language).
